So I have started to post my journey several times but thought why should I, No one cares anyway...well I think it will make me feel better and be more accountable for my workouts and eating habits. I started using this site back in March and have lost 11 lbs. so far however, I know I could have lost more had I put my mind to it and focused on my workouts. I have struggled all my life with my weight, my senior year of high school I lost nearly 100 lbs. but it was from taking diet pills and starving...I gained it all back plus some after giving birth to my daughter 7 years ago. Now it is a struggle to move. I was near 260 at my heaviest, though I have lost some, I am nowhere near healthy or my goal. I have a 1st goal of 199, the great onderland, I want to make this my goal for now and when I reach it, I will make a new goal. Fried foods are my weakness...and when you live in the south, it's everywhere! So to let everyone know...I am not interested in taking diet pills of any kind including phentermine (been there, done that, lost it, gained it all back), I am doing this the healthy way with some vitamins along the way. If you have advice you would like to share, I would gladly except it! Inspiration stories are appreciated too I know I can do it, but it has been so hard...

you def can do this! while my starting weight was not near yours i know how hard it is to change your lifestyle especially when nothing else is changing. But it takes time and it will happen slowly but surely! Keep logging everyday, the good, the great, the bad just so you know and can see what you've done well and wrong. And push yourself!!! sometimes we dont give ourselves enough credit
GOOD LUCK0 -
Hello there, I'm from Australia!
My entire life I have never been a healthy weight, always secretly struggled
With what people think of me. I moved from the city to the country
Side, there I gained.30 Kgs!!!!! Which is about 4 dress sizes, this happened
Over 3 years.
Being only 20, its not fun...
My partner proposed and I said yes, I feel I want to be healthy
And happy on my wedding day.
Also, my family has allot of history with cancer, I want
To live a long, healthy life and one day have children.
Being obese is such a barrier to happiness.
I'm also a quarter of my way there and I'm feeling good.
try to eat fresh unprocessed foods and just keep moving your body.
It doesn't matter how long for, or what time of day ... be consistent
:-) good luck0 -

Girl, I know that you can do this!! You are stronger than you think you are. You are such a beautiful, funny, smart, and loving person. Losing weight is one of the hardest things ever to do!! People who drink or do drugs....to me, I would think it would be easy to stop. You dont have to drink or do drugs to live. But you do have to eat to live!! And learning how to eat healthy and in portion size is something I struggle with everyday. Dont give up Jennifer!!!! You are gonna make your goal. I have faith in you, and I am here and will continue to be here and cheer you on all the way!!! Before long, you are gonna be the smoking hot woman you desire to be!!! And then, we will go shopping for NEW CLOTHES!!!!!l...lol...I am here for you girly....anytime day or night, if ya need to talk, cry, scream or whatever....im here for ya!!! You are gonna beat this!!!!0

I just started using mfp a couple of weeks ago, but it has helped me stay on track with my food so much. I still struggle to fit in exercise with 3 kids and a husband, but I joined a June workout challenge today. I am hoping this will keep me motivated. My youngest will be 2 in 3 months so I can't use the baby weight excuse anymore. My first mini goal is to get down to 200lbs. Way to go on losing 11 lbs. You can do it. You are worth it.0

I am glad you decided to share, it is encouraging. You can do it (and so can I LOL). Keep up the good work and don't give up. I need to drop 20-30 pounds and I just can't wait to see at least the 5 come off. I just started this journey a week or so ago and I am trying to stay motivated. It takes a lot of effort for me to eat healthy and watch my calories. Anyway, I wish you all the best!0
