When is the best time to take multi-vitamins?

Hi - I've been taking multi-vitamins for a while now and have always wondered; when the serving size is 2 vitamins, do you take both of them at once or two separate times throughout the day? Why?

I usually take 1 at breakfast and 1 at lunch. My reasoning is that it spreads out the intake, but is it better to get it all at once?

I always take mine with my biggest meals. I take a lot of vitamins and minerals (I'm trying to treat my depression with them) so I divide them up over the course of a day (Otherwise my meal would be vitamins). If you're only take two, I'm sure you could take them together (but with a meal) but I'm like you, I think it's good to divide them up.

I take two as well plus a calcium so I take one at breakfast, one at lunch and the calcium at dinner. my multi has iron and you should always take calcium and iron 2 hours apart. I also separate my multi for better absorption on suggestion of my doctor.

I always take mine with breakfast but Dr. Oz says you're supposed to split them in half and take half at breakfast and half at dinner. I don't like the idea of cutting the pill 'cause it would probably taste gross.

Vit D with heaviest meal. I heard that you should take them at bedtime so they don't flush out, but I take mine in the morning with breakfast. ALA with every meal, or with the meals that are higher in carbs.
