Mapmyfitness Accuracy?

Does anyone use maymyfitness? I feel like the accuracy for calories burned might be off, has anyone else noticed this?
For ex, I went for a 32 min walk, 3.5mph and its saying i only burned 179calories, when myfitnesspal has it down for 229 calories, I even googled other workout calorie burning calculators and they are all around the 250-300 range also.

Is there a better tracker i would be using for my droid?
Thanks!

I am not sure about the calories burned, but I think the distance is a little off. (I've heard that the MFP calorie burns tend to be a little high, so I usually do use the calories from my running app instead.) I switched to endomondo to track my distance. The GPS has been more reliable than mapmyfitness.

I agree completely as I ran both programs (mapmyfitness & endomondo) MAPMYFITNESS was so over on both speed and miles - as I ran on a marked path. I now use endomondo and it seems to much better - but now I have to re-reach goals I thought I had already achieve based on my usage of mapmyfitness!! UGG!!

I've just used endomondo, but I found it was too high as well, at least compared to my heart rate monitor. While not perfect either, a good HRM is probably more accurate than any app, because the app can only guess at how fit you are. Your level of fitness has a big effect of actual calories burned. The apps just know your weight and distance, thus speed, but actual effort needed is the missing component that they can only guess at.

MapMyFitness is usually a little off on distance, speed, elevation, and calorie counts. I used to use them to plan out routes, but the RideWithGPS came along and I switched to them.
