Working out when sick...

I have been battling a cold for almost 2 weeks now. I thought I was better but then I got hit with round two. There are days I feel well enough to work out, but my nose is constantly running and makes working out difficult. I decided to let my body rest since I was hit with round 2 and now I feel like a slob. How do you decide whether to work out or not and how do you handle the constant runny nose??
