Hello everyone,
I am new to mfp. I've done WW online which i loved but I came across this site while looking for the number of calories burned in one of my yoga classes. Anyway, this is fun and different. Everyone seems very friendly and helpfulI. As I just started 3 days ago I am full of motivation. But, I am an emotional binge eater and when times get tough it's hard to get the support you need from family and freinds because sometimes they just can't relate. To normal people food is just food. To an emotinal eater like myself food means so much more. It means comfort, joy, stress you name it. So here I am. I am giving it a try. I deal with my stress with yoga and exercise, keeping a food journal and taking evey food I eat for what it is worth: the calories. My wedding is in May and I want to be a "Sexy Bride"!!!!!!!!
Can someone please tell me what day the exercise journal resets? Does my weekly goal change on the day I started or on Sundays?
thanks! :flowerforyou:

Hi there and welcome to this site, I think you'll find it most helpful.
I'm not sure what you mean about the exercise log...someone will chime in to help you soon...what I do know about the exercise log is that when you log your exercise it calculates in your food diary the additional amount of calories you can consume and still stay in weight loss range.
I don't think it resets, it is a running journal by date same as the food diary...the only way I am aware of resetting would be to update your goals and to provide your data at the check in location.
Take care,

Welcome and best of luck to you!
I'm pretty sure it resets on Mondays......but don't quote me on that!0 -
I know what you are trying to figure out with the exercise log sb2b, but this one doesn't work like that, it breaks it down by day, not by week. My wife did WW for years, and I know people get in the habbit of banking points for a week, but this site doesn't do that. It uses an industry standard calculation to get what your calorie deficite should be per day, and then uses that to figure out how many exercise calories you should work out per day. What it DOES do is give you totals per week, which is just a way to look at your progress.
Personally I like this way better as it forces you to think day to day instead of week to week, which follows my mantra of taking things one day at a time. Forget yesterday as it is already over with, and just start today, everyday.0
