Glucosamine Hurting or Helping me?

Lately I've noticed my hips aching a lot during and after running. I haven't changed my routine much; either distance or pace, but there is considerable discomfort. I started taking Glucosamine/Chondroitin about 3-4 months ago. Is it possible this is actually hurting my joints rather than helping them? Anyone else ever experience this?

How about your shoes? Have you changed your shoes? Should you? Are you running on a different surface?0 -

It's not hurting, it's suppose to help. The question regarding shoes is a good question to answer. Also, are you stretching your hip flexors? The hip flexors are one of few muscle groups that benefit from static stretching both before and after exercise, stretch them well.0 -

And I am going to investigate a new pair of running shoes. I've got about 500 miles on this set which I'm told is about the time to replace them.0 -
I had moderate joint pain and the glucosamine has never done anything but help me.0
