How do you have FUN?

I started using MFP about a month ago and I love it. Started exercising almost daily. I have a Playstation3 so i got the stuff for PS Move and got a dancing game which is really fun! I also do Zumba classes for 60 minutes, twice a week. I don't like to run or jog, I'm not a gym member, and my friends are usually too busy to go outside and like throw a ball or walk in the park or anything.

So tell me, what do you guys do to burn those calories AND have fun at the same time?

Well, I kind of hate running but I still do it. I force myself to get out there and put one foot in front of the other and eventually, I hate it a little less. I let my mind wander and my ipod play and, soon enough, I get in a rhythm. It doesn't really get easier but it starts to feel a little better. Usually, by the end of the run, I'm feeling pretty darned good, good enough that I'd even consider running again sometime.

The next day, I kind of hate it again but at least I remember that I can feel good doing it. So, I try it again.

That said, if you really can't stand running, then get a bike. Not only is it great exercise but, if you incorporate it into your normal life by doing things like running errands or grocery shopping, you can get exercise without really trying to work out.

I don't know if you live in an area where this is possible, but hiking is a great way to burn calories and not really feel like you're working out, especially if you have a lovely area in which to hike!

I use my WiiFit :) and I play WiiSports Tennis alot! I also play tennis a lot in real life, as well as riding my bikes and jump roping with a weighted rope. I find all of those to be "fun" workouts!

I used to live in a place like that, and now I live in a big-city-downtown area, not much place to hike ;) Maybe when I go home next month I'll give it a shot!

I also got this new game for the PS Move that's like a skeleton sword-fighting game (come on, it was only 5$ haha) and it makes me SEAT killing all those skeletons! But now my right arm is getting waaayyy more worked out than the left, do you have the same problem playing tennis??

I work out using a suspension trainer. I absolutely love it.

Ride a bike. You can find bike groups for all levels and they will certainly find time to play.
