3 Fried/Scrambled Eggs

Hi all. I'm new to this, just signed up today. I was trying to add my lunch which was a couple of dashes of olive oil with 3 large eggs. I'm lactose intolerant so I don't use milk or butter. I just whisk them about with some salt, pepper and chilli. I know how to add this, but no idea how to score it calorie, fat, protein etc wise. Any help?

I have pretty much the same thing for breakfast each morning. I simply log 3 eggs, and 1 tsp of coconut oil.0

Do you mean this option - Prepared at Home - 3 Eggs, Scrambled W/ Water, Cooked In Org. Coconut Oil, Salsa ??
I've put in a couple of different options and they all come back completely different. Where would I go if I wanted to get the details for 3 eggs and 1 tsp olive oil so I could create it myself for future use?0 -
You can enter it as a recipe if you have the same thing a lot. Just enter all the ingredients separately. They should all be there -- I know eggs and olive oil are.0

just find the nutrition info for the eggs and then separately search for the oil. you can list everything individually on your log. then after you log it once, you can go to create meal and put 3 eggs with 1 tsp oil and then enter in the totals from the first time you logged separately. from then on you should be able to just go to meals you've created and enter in that 1 meal every day.0

Yes, I would put each item in separately. Even that way you're going to find 15 giz-million listings for eggs or olive oil, all different, so if you want to be particularly exact, search for them by brand.0

It's just I looved for just the generic '3 eggs' or '1 egg' but most of what it came up with was just recipes.
I live in Barcelona so it's hard to search by brand. I didn't even think to look on the box and see what it says on there *facepalm*
Thank you0 -
It does take a bit of experience with navigating the database.
For eggs, search for 'egg, whole' -- don't put 'fried' as that assumes that you added some fat, try the raw ones.
For oil, if you just type 'olive oil' you should get 'Oil - Olive' near the top.
If you type in something like '3 eggs' you'll almost certainly get nothing but recipes.0 -
Thank you susanna, I found it the way you explained. Is there a way to add things like salt and pepper? A code word I'm missing out or something - as it doesn't come up for me. Or do most people leave those things out as they don't count for much?0

I have a related question. I always understood that cooking food changes the amount of available calories in food. Does anyone who how much this impacts different raw foods and how well MFP takes this into account?0

That's a good question as I thought the same and have put my eggs in as raw, when they're not. I think you should start your own topic on it though, as I don't think many people would look at this 'egg' topic now. Good luck!0
