Trouble Sleeping?

Anybody else having trouble sleeping?

I thought it was related to the recent heatwave here.
Or previous menopause symptoms coming back.

I've been working out a lot........ feels so good!
Especially last night....... HARD working in the gym!

But in reading some of the old posts about starvation mode,
working out a lot etc., seems insomnia is kind of common.

SUGGESTIONS? :embarassed:
Melatonin or Sleepy Time tea isn't doing it for me anymore.

can you change the time of day you work out in just to be sure it's not exercise? My husband gets the same way if he plays squash late at night.
Thyroid could also be causing your insomnia...
How about trying hatha yoga or deep breathing exercises to center yourself and prepare your mind for sleep...?

I have trouble falling asleep - it takes my body 45 minutes to 70 minutes to wind down. Then I have to deal with my three year old who STILL doesn't sleep her nights:grumble: Ticks me off because I never get that first hour of deep REM sleep that the body needs.

All good ideas, thanks! Need to work on "quiet time" before bedtime.
The bf sleeps different hours than me which gets challenging.

I have to go to the gym straight after work or it doesn't happen!
So that's not very late.......... 5pm to 7:00-ish.

    Very nice tats, BTW! :flowerforyou:
