Did you stay within your nutritional goals?
YES! With 25 to spare!

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal?
Yes

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of?
I hadn't exercised at all and at 9pm, when I really wanted to be in bed, I put my treadmill on an incline and walked 30 min. I was over my calories by 225, so I burned 250 and went to bed.

What would I have done differently? Worked out earlier. Everyday I set my alarm to 5am so I can exercise, and everyday I reset it and sleep longer and tell myself I'll do it in the evening. But it's so hard to get it in after a long day of working and life! I need to manage my time better and just make myself get up!

What is today's personal goals?
Stay within my calories, drink water, exercise

No - I was so stressed. My dog has had horrible fleas and is miserable with itching. I was giving him a flea bath when dh came home with the kids. When he went to pick them up from camp, they could not find my daughter! Finally discovered she was asleep in the back of the van and a counsler was using it for errands!!!!! It was a hot day and we were quite upset. This all led to chocolate. As best as I can tell, I was over by 800 cal.

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal?
    Forgot all about goals.

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of?
Survived and on to a hopefully much better new day!

What would I have done differently?
I should find a better outlet for stress, but I kept thinking my daughter could have died in the back of a hot van
I am still upset, but trying to hop right back into good eating habits.

Question - when you go over so much, do you try to go under a little on the next few days or just hold with the standard amount?

Good lord! I would have been frantic! I am so glad that your daughter is safe and sound, but I hope you all gave the camp director an earful! She didn't get dehydrated by being in the van in the heat did she?

That is terrible that your daughter was forgotten in the back of the van! :noway: I would be really upset too! Hang in there, today will be a better day! Sometimes I do try to go under following a day that I've gone over ... but typically it seems to work better for me to just scratch that 'bad day' and start fresh.

Thanks, fortunately my daughter is ok. The camp director was very upset also and committed to make sure there is never a repeat. The counsler involved will not be driving for the camp anymore and will have a complaint in their file. My kids have been going to this camp for years with good experiences so I think it will be ok. It's scary how things can happen like that.

Oh my... I am so glad that it turned out okay. I would have been a house of fire :explode: Hate to say it but if the chocolate helped you from kicking a camp counselors butt (or lose your mind) then it was worth it. This was clearly a stressful/frantic experience.

She is safe... today will be a better day :flowerforyou:

No, but didn't try. Yes. Took a week off, so I'm starting with new calorie and diet goals. So far so good for today.

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal?
    Didn't even try.

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of?
Walked around all day at a water park.

What would I have done differently?
    Not eaten the bread.

    What is today's personal goals?
Massive headache, so just getting rid of that would be nice.
  • kwelshw-Sorry about the incident with your daughter's camp. That is pretty scary! Don't feel too bad about it causing you to eat, that would send anybody over the edge.

As far as your quesion. I just make sure to stay on track the next day. I never dip below 1200 calories, I've heard it's unhealthy. I may exercise a little more and if I ate salty foods I definitely drink xtra water.
