the words light and beer should never go together! lol enjoy your beer girl and drink the good stuff, just dont go buck wild! a beer here and then never killed anyone!
We should be friends...
Light beer = pointless
Agreed. . just drink less!0 -
Natural Light, Busch Light, Mich Ultra, Budweiser Select, and Miller Lite, and Yuengling Light (good luck finding Yuengling light, I can't find it anywhere) are all under 100 calories.
I've taken to adding lime to my beers to give it more taste...I'm usually a New Castle or Magic Hat kinda girl, but those are 143-150 calories a piece! I still splurge on one every now and then.
http://www.beer100.com/beercalories.htm is a great reference.0 -
Miller 64. It is okay while I'm trying to shed some pounds but I don't think I can continue drinking these after reaching my goal weight. I plan on going back to my Irish beers and just drinking less. :drinker:
Guinness 12oz 125calories
Smithwicks (bottle) 150calories
Harp (bottle) 153calories0 -
My options if I have lots/few calories left are as follows :
Boddingtons
Guinness
Double chocolate stout/heineken/leinenkugle
Miller Lite
Michelobe Ultra
Budweiser Select 550 -
Light beer is like soft porn. What's the point???0
-
I'd rather drink one good beer compared to two low cal beers.
Same here. Rather sacrifice the calories for good flavor!0 -
Coors lite after about 6 of them I am buzzed. LOL0
-
If your an IPA fan, Bitter American is yummy and for 150 calories its a close enough replacement for the time being!0
-
Guiness is so good and around 100 calories0
-
Bud Select 55 IS low calorie, but it tastes like metal flavored water. Hell, when I am planning on marathon drinking, I will admit that it's worth it. However, if I'm sticking to a six pack for the night, I'm okay with more calories for taste.
Yes, I marathon drink.0 -
A 12oz serving of Guiness has 125 calories, 9.8 grams of carbs, and it's alcoholic content is 4.2%.
I had no clue Guiness was only 125 calories. Maybe I should start drinking Guiness!0 -
I'd rather drink one good beer compared to two low cal beers.

I'm pretty sure you could mix any light beer 1-2 parts beer to 1 part soda water and get the same thing as those ultra-low cal beers for half the price. They just taste watered down.0

*shudder*
^^^ Me, too.
I'd rather drink one good beer a week and stick to water the rest of the week than drink crappy unenjoyable beer every day.
To each their own, but when I drink a beer, I want to savor every wonderful calorie-laden drop.
Good beer + 30 minutes on the elliptical > light beer.0 -
Bud light lime is tastey, 116 calories. Usually is my beer of choice.
If you want a really cheap beer trying using something like Select 55 (only 55 calories) and add some lime juice in.
Bump on the 55. It's not the best by any means but if I want beer when hanging out with friends, it is my go to option. I don't feel left out and I can stay within my calories. Since Jan I have gotten used to it and now have a hard time drinking anything else because of the alcohol content. Yes, light weight I have become!0 -
not a huge beer drinker myself...in fact, i hate it. Until I discovered Coors Light Iced T--tastes NOTHING like Iced T...but it also doesn't really taste like beer to me either...
I THINK its around 100 calories...but don't quote me on it0
