Have come so far, but still so far to go!

I started my weightloss journey November 1, 2011 and am now more than half way to my first target weight. I've lost enough weight that it is quite noticeable, am down more than a size and have gotten comments from a lot of the people in my life about how much weight I've lost, but my worry is that I'm going to get complacent and that the pounds will slowly start to creep back! (it's happened before...)
am hoping that if I post my progress pics it'll be enough of a push to remind me of how far I've come and how far I still need to go! I purposely chose an unflattering picture for my updated pic as a reminder that the belly still needs to be conquered!
The first pic is me right after the "Cookie Run" 10k for Girl Scouts in November 2011 (a couple weeks after my first marathon)
The second pic is at the finish line of Spartan Race taken on Sunday (June 3).
I'm going to take more traditional progress photos tonight so I can gauge where I'm going in the next couple of months. The goal is to meet my anticipated weight (another 16lbs) by the time my second marathon rolls around in October. If all goes well I will run the second one down the weight of a 7 year old child! (Holy Cow!)

That's awesome! I had some friends take part in the Spartan race this week and I saw all the pictures. It's definitely something I want to work up to someday!

You should DEFINITELY do Spartan Race it's a great way to see just how much you can challenge yourself. I have been a bit lax in my strength training while focussing on running in the last couple years but now I think I want to do a lot more, especially upper body. My goal with Spartan race is to eventually be able to climb the rope, it was the only challenge this year that I had to do penalty burpees for and to be honest I hate burpees like poison!0
