Hey everyone!
I wasn't sure where exactly to put this thread, so I hope I chose correctly. I just came across this article: http://www.cnn.com/2012/06/05/health/drew-manning-fit2fat2fit-lessons/index.html
I am still trying to decide if his decision (and success) is motivating to me or not. Anyone else see this and have thoughts on it? Having always been on the "fat" side of life, I cannot imagine gaining 70lbs on purpose, no matter how dedicated I was to my career choice. I do love that his experience has given him a more empathetic approach towards his clients. :flowerforyou:
What do you think?

I followed this for awhile and then got bored with it. I did find the fit to fat part interesting. I guess maybe it's like not turning away from a train wreck. The downside of watching that part of his transformation was always being hungry when I saw what he was eating.0

This is why I cannot watch shows on the Food Network channel...I always end up feeling hungry by the middle of the program! :laugh:0 -
I still don't think its the same as someone that has been overweight their whole life and tried everything possible to lose weight, and damaged their metabolism in the process. Muscles also have memory so it was easier for him to regain his original muscle tone than someone who had never had any muscle tone. Although I agree alot that its more mental/emotional than just food and workouts I still don't think its the same and does nothing to motivate me.0

I thought this was about fat2fitradio, which I love.
I am behind the times I guess because I had not ever heard of what you posted about until now! I think it's odd.0
