    Not from there, but I actually lived there for 2 years when I was 11 and 12 - many, many moons ago. I am from Pennsylvania so the culture down there is way different, but it was a time I will never forget! We lived in Opelousas (not even sure if that's how you spell it ...lol) and we went crabbing in the Gulf and crawfishing in the Achafalaya Swamp ... good times!
