Okay I have just finished doing the 30 day shred for two months (5 days a week) and recently started Six Pack in Six Weeks along with running three nights a week. I am not losing a thing! I feel like my body is getting a little toner sometimes when I look at it...But other days I am still completely repulsed by how it looks still! What are things you guys are doing that work?! I'm become hopeless.... :(

Agree with the above posters. And possibly add weight training? It's hard to tell without more details. :ohwell:

Lately it has been a green smoothie in the mornings, salads for lunch with some fruit, and then just a normal dinner nothing fancy. I don't have a lot to lose, but something would be nice! I mostly looking for ways to get toned and what not...But even all the exercise I am putting in hasn't helped tone up much....

    What are your goals?
    Weight loss?
    Build Muscle and look smaller?

Diet is the main component of any of these goals, but your approach to diet will be different for each

Maybe try strength exercises (with heavier weights than JM uses). And make sure you eat plenty of protein. You may also want to research musce building programmes for women that involve eating more to build muscle - but I have NO experience to advise you here - try the search function

Have you taken your measurements? If not, please do that and give it more time. You may perceive yourself as not being much smaller, but the reality may be different. I "feel" like the same size I was a year ago, and perceive myself as such unless I catch a glimpse of myself accidentally - like a reflection in a store-front window. Then I have to do a double take.

And remember that the less you have to lose, the harder it is to lose.

^^ this. If you're only using the scale to see progress, that only tells you if you have lost weight not if you are increasing your fitness level. Body measurements and / or progress pictures are very effective ways to see how you are changing your body even if you aren't dropping weight.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm still working on getting my mental image of myself in line with what I actually look like right now. I still perceive myself as the 300 lb fat beast I was a year ago, but I'm 60 lbs lighter and several inches around the waist smaller. My mind hasn't caught up to the progress my body has made.
