Ok I am beyond desperate! I work out about an hour a day and watch what I eat for the most part. I still don't feel like I'm seeing a lot of results. I have been looking into body wraps. I keep seeing mix reviews on them. 1/2 say they are awesome and half say they are the biggest waste of money. Have any of you tried them?! Opinions?!

I'd like to know too! my cousin has started selling them.
  • i don't know if I would pay $100 to try it, but I plan on trying out a diy version I found on google. It will cost me about $20 and I'll be able to use the ingredients again if I find it works.

Google diy body wrap and see if the idea is for you.

Body wraps only help you lose water weight- which is temporary. Not worth the money in my opinion, but if you have a big event coming up and you want a quick fix, it may be worth it!

Body wraps, sauna suits, etc. all work on the principle of losing *water weight* by raising your core temperature, which causes excessive sweating. However, as soon as you re-hydrate yourself, you're replenishing all the water (and thus the weight you "lost").

Since your exercise and food logs aren't public, it's difficult for any of us here to see where you might need help.

Also, if you have $100 burning a hole in your pocket, I'm going to Vegas next month and will most certainly find a better use for it. ;-)

Very much agree. If you've lost the weight and you're trying to drop some weight to fit in a dress for an event or pool party then yeah they could be useful. If you have a lot of fat weight left to lose it's of no value to you unfortunately. Those infomercials are highly prejudicial and would recommend switching-off any infomercial trying to sell supplements or exercise equipment because it's usually a joke.
