Health Support (White Blood Cell Counts)

Hey guys!
I wasn't sure where to post this, so I figured this was as good as any..
I just got blood work done from my doctor after an appointment I made about swelling in my lymph nodes and really painful headaches, and was told that my white cell counts were low. I was put on antibiotics yesterday as well. This is going to cause me to have to get blood work done once every three weeks until the cell counts improve.
I was told to take it easy until my cell counts improve.. I really don't want to not work out for multiple weeks.
I went for a walk today and only made it 15min without getting extremely winded, but I'm going to assume that's from being really worn down and not working out for a couple of days. (I can usually run 20-30min without problem)
Has anyone else had this problem? Do you think walking and ab work is too much?
I really don't want to get off track.. I signed up for a 5k in July ):
