When you just don't feel like working out...

What motivates you when every bone in your body wants to skip out on the exercise? I know for me, I used to think I had to come home from work and immediately start working out. But when I get home, I need a little time to rest and decompress. Sometimes its a 20 minute nap, sometimes it's listening to music, and sometimes it's just some good old tv for a couple hours until I re-energize. Letting myself realize that it's not all or nothing when I get home in the evening has helped...but I still have those days when I want to go back to my old habits and just lay around. So-what keeps you reaching for your tennis shoes even when you'd rather nap the day away??????

    It used to be guilt that got me off my *kitten*, but now it''s that the day doesn't feel complete if I don't go for a run or get on the treadmill or throw some weights around. Or it's that I myself don't feel complete or I feel like something is missing. Must be gettin tired...not sure that made sense..but it did to me haha

    Knowing that I deserve better is what motivates me!!!! My husband and my children motivate me!!!! I want and need to be around for a long time to enjoy them and also enjoy my life. Just last night I was feeling pretty bad all of a sudden and I was going to just say hey, I can do this tomorrow, but then a voice told me to dig deep and push through it(along with the motivation of my awesome MFP's)!!! GET UP AND DO WHAT YOU CAN!!! So I did and I am so glad that I made that decision :-)
