Search for lamb mince, it assumes there's fat mixed in with lean

Can you not find them seperately in the database? Say add 85grams of lean beef then 15grams of beef fat? x

You could look it up and add it to your recipes

Thanks a lot, my problem here I can not understand exactly what is the meaning of many words. for example : "Lamb, Australian, imported, fresh, rib, separable lean and fat, trimmed to 1/8" fat, raw"
I din't know what they mean by : rib
and " trimmed to 1/8" fat"

    Translatoer here is not working,
I know what is rib as word, but when it come with meat I can not understand.

    Thanks

Let's try this. Australian imported = comes from Australia. Rib means a cut from the rib section of the lamb, like a chop. Separable lean and fat means that there is the meat with a layer fo fat on the outside, that you can trim off. The fat is not mixed in the meat but on the edges. Trimmed to 1/8" means that not all the fat is removed. A little is left on 1/8", a tiny bit, about 3mm. Raw only means that the nutritional counts were taken before the meat was cooked. Lamb meat and beef have different nutrition counts but pure fat has the same, regardless of what animal it came from, so you can use the beef fat info for lamb also. If you are looking for the ground meat info try "mince" (UK) as BerryH has sugested or try the words "ground lamb" (US).
I hope this will help you.
