Should you exercise when muscles are sore? 30DS

I have been wanting to try the 30 day shred program again. I attempted it once before but I was so sore by the second day that I could hardly walk LOL. I also have to be cautious because I have herniated disks and pinched nerves in my back, among other things. I wonder if you are supposed to work through the pain when you have delayed muscle soreness or should you take a rest for a day or two? Is the 30DS program intended to be done every day or just 3-4 days a week?

    If it's just muscle soreness from working out, work through it. it it's your back from your herniated disc... don't.
