Dear NBC, stop destroying things!

I found out NBC is rebooting "The Munsters" and calling it "Mockingbird Lane", you know.. based off the street they lived on.. Blah blah blah..
The Tv show I grew up on and adored, and still do to this day, is being revamped to some piece of crap hour long DRAMA, with Jerry O'Connell (gag me now!) as Herman, and no other than Eddie Izzard playing Grandpa.

Why do they have to destroy the things I love?!

Yes. I refuse to pay for satellite and we can't get cable in our area. Not that I would pay for that either.

As for the Munsters rehash, I agree, this can't be good. I looked up Eddie Izzard and I just don't think he fits that part and neither does Jerry O'Connell.

Eddie Izzard is awesome, and I CAN see him doing an a-okay Grandpa. Not an amazing one, but good enough. But Jerry? I don't like him as an actor at all, I CANNOT see him as Herman one little bit.
I wonder who they will be casting the rest of the family..

I don't watch television at all. I find anything I need on the internet. No extra bills. No flipping through channels. It was my way of telling the government that the digital switch was a stinky steaming load of elephant poo.

I was devastated when "Leave It To Beaver" Ended. Then, Barney Miller came along and I was mollified. When that ended, I did drugs, drank too much and chased women for 10 years.

But...now I have the Food Network. Bobby Flay saved my life.

There are no more original thoughts.....not in movies, books, TV shows, nuttin' honey.

    It's all old re-hashed crap.

LOL..................I did the drugs and drank too much, but I never chased women. I don't swing that way........................

Wait 'til they try to re-hash "Leave it to Beaver"...............somehow, I think that will have a whole different connotation, don't you???
