Tired and cold...

Ok what can I do about this. I'm 6 1/2 months into my lifestyle change. I workout 5 days a week. lost about 25lbs. I have gradually gotten colder as things progress. Like today. I'm sitting in my house which is set at 73 F and I'm wearing a hoodie and sweats and I'm comfortable.

Not to mention after I exercise my body temp seems to drop I'm still sweating but I'm chilly. Like 20 min post workout.

And in the last monthish I'm so tired. I go to bed and get up almost the same time everyday. However I'm dragging after my kids wishing they would take a nap so mama can! (Stay at home mom) My eyes wanna role back in my head!

See a doctor. Could be anemia, could be your thyroid, could be that you've just lost a lot of insulation :)

I would be cold at 73 as well..

Your iron lvls could be low, blood pressure ect.. B-12 time release and Iron seems to help me.. worth a shot but if continues I would speak to your physician.

I have heard that very low calorie diets cause you to be cold. Don't remember the science behind it though.

My guess is you aren't eating enough. That would account for being overly tired as well.

    ^^ this

It sounds like your body is going through something and should get checked out for safe measures.
Or your pregnant, I know I had weird symptoms like that in the beginning.

I would have your thyroid and iron levels checked but could be like someone else said you have lost alot of insulation and your body is not use to it. I use to be hot all the time now that i have lost alot of weight I find myself cold quite often

I would agree that you should see a doctor just to get levels tested. You could be anemic (which would cause the tiredness). I can't see your diary but you may need more protein and iron in your diet.

I can relate to feeling cold. I am just about always cold because I don't have as much body fat as the rest of the family.

When my metabolism is working I am cold, when I hit a plateau I noticed I was no longer cold, not is working again (broke the plateau) and today I am sitting at work wearing a jacket. I am thrilled to be cold because its a sign to me that my metabolism is up and running. It is referred to as the thermo something or another effect.
