Keeping a workout and nutrition routine with shift work

Hello friends!

I am wondering if you could give me some tips and lead me to some good website resources about keeping fit and eating a balanced diet while doing shift work. I am working three different jobs right now and will be for the forseeable future, so I will have very sporadic days and times off. My sleeping schedule will also be all over the map since I will be going from midnight shifts to day shifts to evening shifts all in the same week.
I would like to know how best to maintain my fitness, and still shed a few inches.
I would also like to know if it would be better for me to eat by a specific time, or for me to just eat as soon as I wake up, at random times while I am working...etc. It is just that I will be napping at random times of the day and stuff too so I don't really know what is better for my metabolism. Any suggestions are welcome and if you need more specific information, I can definitely share it here or in a pm.

Cheers!

Wow you are one busy girl!

When I was in college, I worked 2 jobs, school full time and had a kid, (single mom). My tricks
    1. Have health food that I could eat quickly on hand so I could just grab and go.
    hard boiled eggs
    nuts and dried fruit
    protein bars
    pre-made protien shakes
    string cheese
lots of salads - always have cut up veggies and cook protein in my fridge

    2. Work out in small chucks 10 - 15 minutes at a time multiple time a day

Don't worry about eating at a specific time, just eat when you can. Maybe prepare your food for the week and already have it split in portions so you can just grab a lunch and run off. Keep resistance bands with you so you can strength train anywhere.

Good luck, you can do this
