Reading labels

Just wanted to pass along something I've learned the hard way - when you read nutrition facts on labels, make sure to note how many servings per container. The nutrition info is usually per serving. Yesterday I ate an entire (small!) bag of trail mix before reading it contained 8 (!) servings. The serving sizes where 1/4 cup - who eats 1/4 cup of trail mix?! Anyway, today I started drinking a vegetable/juice mix and saw one bottle is considered two servings. Fortunately, I saw that before I drank the entire thing. I guess portion size is something I need to work on!

I really hate when I buy individual things or "personal size" things when in fact they are 2, 3, 4(more???) servings. It's really obnoxious and I find it to be false advertisement. I analyze everything I buy, but sometimes when you're shopping quick, you get duped.0
