tuna pasta bake.... good or bad??

i'm in the middle of making a tuna pasta bake for my family n im jus worried tht its more of a treat than a meal that'll help to lose that extra bit of weight...

anyone have any ideas?

    I guess it depends on your ingredients, like if you use a lot of cheese or other cream based ingredients.

    And remember that pasta is usually a high calorie and high carb food...

    You may want to use a recipe calculator to total the amount of calories in the tuna pasta bake :smile:
  • 1 tin of tuna
    1 tin of green giant sweetcorn
    125g penne pasta
    3/4 pint semi-skimmed milk

  • thankyou for your help... unfortunately it ended up being 640calories for the whole meal! 100 carbs and 11 fat... i had no idea it'd be that bad i wish i'd looked before i had it :cry:

    It may be 640 calories for the whole meal but if you split it up between your family it will be less.
