I've Stopped......

.... weighing myself!

I was frustrated with the lack of change in my scale so I've decided to ignore it. Haven't weighed myself in a couple of weeks.

I may be of a different mindset from other folks though. While losing weight is a long range goal, the real deal is keeping a healthy balance of calories in and calories out. I like MFP because it keeps me accountable with myself. I have the reminder that I will be logging in and it's personal. If I don't lose any more weight, I know that I still have made great changes.

Lost 25 pounds, getting lots of exercise, and just the thinking about exercising is a good habit. I feel pretty fit now and think I'll live longer.

So goodbye scale. I'm doing my thing because it's the healthy way to live my life from day to day.
