Does you neck muscles actually get bigger?

I measured myself for another thread and my neck is a half inch bigger than when I last measured. I haven't measured it in months because I really didn't think your neck could grow. Not that it bothers me since I can't even tell but that's bizarre to me.

Is there just some normal day to day variance in neck size or is it just really getting bigger?


Edit: The title should say "Do your neck muscles actually get bigger?"
