Need New Food Ideas!

I'm getting kind of bored with food. I eat a lot of sandwiches, salads, and fruit, but often end up bingeing later on b/c it isn't really satisfying enough. What healthy foods do you guys like to eat?

    Try Oh She Glows recipes. They're vegan, delicious, and super simple to make. My favorite so far is the creamy tomato basil pasta. Good luck!!!

    I eat the same kinds of food that I've always eaten, but I pay attention to portion sizes and I make sure that I add a whole lot of veggies to just about everything :smile:

    So, I eat fried rice, pasta with seafood or chicken, soups and casseroles (its winter here), steak and veggies, sandwiches... none of it "diet" food but almost all of it home cooked and with a much higher ratio of veggies than you find in typical recipes. This means that the calories per serve are more reasonable plus there is lots of great nutrition in there.

    I snack on boiled eggs, almonds, hommus and veggies, sweet potato (new favourite!), home made muffins or slices (usually based around fruit/oatmeal), 1/2 sandwiich on grainy bread, fruit, skinny lattes..... and sometimes cake, chocolate and other treats, though I try to keep them to small amounts (I'm not always very good at this!)

    I know that if I am going to stay at a healthy weight, I have to cook and eat the kind of food that I enjoy and that is good for my body. Portion size is a big part of it - I eat a much smaller serve of pasta or rice than I used to but eat more sauce or sides to balance out the calories.
