Ankle exercises

I have some really weak ankles from back when I played sports in high school. I recently joined baseball and volleyball and can semi rolled my right ankle. I was wondering what are some strengthening exercises that I can try ? I know the obvious of rotating the ankles, but other than that, I am stuck.

This isn't an easy answer by any means, but since no one else answered, I'll chime in. When I coached gymnastics at a pretty high level we had a circular board (about 18 inches across), on the bottom was a half sphere. So kids could put their foot right in the middle of the board and then rotate the ankle around in circles.
Okay, I'm having trouble describing it. Here's a picture I just found of something like it:

But ours was homemade.
The other thought might involve a Bosu trainer. I'm sure there are ways to strengthen ankles on that, although once again, it costs money.

Calf raises. Start unweighted. Move to one leg calf raises. Move to weighted.0
