What Should be my Daily Sugar Intake?

I've got 10 pounds to lose and my focus is to do some major toning. I'm on 1,200 cals per day and staying away from the bad carbs and sticking foods that are higher in protien.

What should my max sugar grams per day? Is it bad to be too low?

yes and no, Crabs are basically long chains of sugars that are broken down as digested in to sugar units. The more complex the carbohydrate the slower the sugar is digested. This leads to a lower insulin spike than eating straight glucose and fructose.

The MFP web site will build you a daily plan that includes suggested fat ,protein and carb intake levels. That is as good a guide as any for how much "sugar" to allow. The less simple sugar you cn eat and the more complex carbs with in that guide line the better for general health.
