Ok so I bought a HRM a while back and usually use it for my workouts but I am wondering if I can wear it while I am at work. I am a cashier/office assistant and am constantly on my feet and I walk around and clean while it's slow. SO.... will my HRM accurately tell me how many calories I burned while at work? If not than is there anything I can use?

From what I've read, HRM's aren't accurate for long term wear. Don't know the reason though, maybe someone else can tell you.

Personally, I don't log work as exercise. My activity level includes my work. I'm an overnight ER Vet Tech, so I chose "Lightly Active" as my activity level.

Edited to add: I don't have a Body Media Fit or FitBit, but they might be more accurate in telling you what you burn while working.
