I'm asking because I am working my butt off and eating right.. but not really seeing any results... I'm currently off work, but I have a very active job... and I go back in about 2 weeks. I'm wondering if my body isn't losing because even with all my exercise I usually do an Hour+ Morning and Night... but I don't come near how much I burn in the 8hrs at work... so in conclusion is my body use to burning a set amount of cals, and I'm not meeting that so I'm not losing.. I seriously have no clue why the weight isn't falling off, and that's the only thing I can think of.

    Your TDEE will have changed

when you go off work you may need to adjust to sedentary till you go back to work.
    redo your goals page.
if you set it to sedentary you should log all exercise.
and don't forget to put it back up when you go back to work

Sometimes people can measure a post exercise increase in metabolic rate, other times not. Seems inconclusive. Your BMR might be 1500 so even sedentary you use 1800, if you have lost a lot of weight it could fall lower as the weight comes off and in response to eating less.

Large calorie deficits through exercise tend not to work, so "working your butt off" may not be constructive. It is quite possible that several hours of work uses more calories than a couple of hours of exercise too.

BMR is the amount of energy required to support you in a coma and will only really changed due to a notable fluctuation in weight (not the day to day 1-3 pounds due to water weight). Your TDEE changes based on activity level, that is all the energy needed to sustain your current weight as soon as you get out of bed in the morning, so including everything from brushing your teeth to running 5 miles. If you want any more help with it, feel free to add me.
