Ideas on homemade pull up/push up bar

Started doing P90X. when I got to the chest/back section, it said a push up and pull up bar were needed. any ideas for a make shift one, or two that can be easily put up to use and taken down???

You don't really need push up bars (though if you have wrist issues, they can be very helpful)... if you have dumbells, then you can always use them to relieve the stress on your wrists.
You can pick up a pull up bar that will go in the doorway (usually $20-30), than you can easily remove... or if you have resistance bands, you can strap it to the top of a doorway and simulate the pull ups (I'm sure you've seen the 'modified' pull ups on the videos)
by the by... if you do pick up one of the doorway pull up bars, most double as a push up bar!0 -
