This might sound gross but it happens to me EVERYTIME I do Yoga, the skin on the bottom of my big toe gets peeled back and it HURTS.
Any idea on how to prevent this from happening. I have tried doing Yoga on teh carpet, and with a mat...even tried those socks once, same effect.

You could try some moleskin (Dr. Scholls). Wrap a piece around the toe. I use it to prevent blisters.0

I'm guessing it's from turning over your toes from up dog to down dog? You could jump the feet or leave the feet turned under.0

Medical cloth tape works for me (probably same idea as moleskin). I wrap my hands sometimes when I'm working out, too.0
