A friend sent me the link

Good morning everyone. I just joined this site, thanks to a friend who has recently joined. I am in my mid 50's, and have just been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. It runs in my family, but I'm hoping that by changing what I eat, how much I eat, get a bit more exercise, etc. I'll be eventually able to control it with just the diet and exercise. I know if I lose the weight, my chances improve, not to mention, lots of other health risks will be reduced. Looking forward to working this program, and to chatting with those of you who are making similar changes.
