I thought I would share with the MFP community about my upcoming surgery to have my abdominal apron removed. I am documenting my journey and feel that many people could benefit from hearing my story!
Here is a link to my personal youtube page where I will keep it updated-

A bit about meme-
My name is Khera and I am 27 and have been overweight since 4th grade. I topped the scales at 350 lbs and am currently down over 150lbs! I started my size healthier journey on Oct 19th, 2010 the day my son was born. I talk more about me in my first video blog!
I will be creating a new video this evening talking about my pre-op and showing video of my abdominal apron (pannus)
Please watch my first video to have a lot your questions answered as I will be away from the computer a lot this coming week! (Talking about insurance coverage, why I am getting this surgery, more about me and my history and what a panniculectomy is, and how it differs from a tummy tuck) Also I know a lot of people think I don't need this surgery since it doesn't look like I have much skin hanging over, but I wear an abdominal binder all day which supports my skin. In my next video I will be showing my pannus so stay tuned!
Pictures- (I have these posted in success stories as well but thought I would share again)

I look forward to updating this picture again on 10/18/12 in the same location wearing the same outfit!!

I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers as I have this life changing surgery! (again I apologize that I won't be able to respond as much as I normally do, but will update when I have a new video!)
