I started off to wanting to lose about 57 pounds. SW: 202 GW: 145 5'8 tall. While my husband was deployed (Sept.-Jan.) I lost 24 pds. Which puts me where I am at now, 177ish. (varies from 176-179 daily) I have a girls weekend trip coming up late June. I've been stressing over losing at least 12 pds. for this trip. I've been working out, I do 3x/wk weight training and 4-6 days cardio/wk, plus walk whenever timing and weather permits (which is about 2-5x/wk). My sister is a personal trainer and has been guiding me through my eating, calories, etc. I just can't seem to break out of the high 70's. I tried eating back all my cals, I've tried not eating back my cals. Then the other day it hit me! I think that I'm stuck because regardless of what my wo's and eating are, I have allowed myself to stress over losing weight too much! Like every second of everyday I'm thinking and stressing over it!! I realized that if I do my wo's and eat healthy and not stress over every second about losing weight then it will come off on it's own. I feel that it's the stress of losing weight that has held me back. So.....now more stressing and no more being depressed with this journey!

You should not be stessing or depressed of your journey you have done so well. You should be proud of where you are and how hard you have worked to get there. The weight didn't go on overnight and won't come off overnight. You got this. I wanted to be in onederland by my birthday which is Sun and I didn't make it but I am down 29lbs from my original weight and am feeling very good about where I am, sure I intend on losing more and it will come but in time and I am ok with where I am in my journey. Relax and enjoy life.

As easy as it is for me to say and hard for you to do yes don't stress. We all get wrapped up in this and that with the numbers ans such. I say just keep going, switch it up but never give up!

When you're training that hard, don't expect your weight on the scale to move down very much, even if you are losing fat. Go by what you see in the mirror, or measure your waist / hips / etc. It's not like you'll be wearing a sign around your neck on that weekend that says "I weigh ###!"
