May be a stupid question but I have those zephyrhills bottles that only say its .5 liters. I just keep a bunch of water bottles in my fridge and keep filling them up but today I want to start measuring how much water I'm drinking.

.5 Liters converts to 16.91 ounces or 2 glasses of water.

there are about 36 oz in a liter. the measurements don't correspond so its not gonna be exact ounces... so each of your bottles is a little over two 8 oz servings...

i don't believe cups and liters correspond... cups, pints, quarts and gallons correspond

Jdubard has it exactly right. One liter = 33.82 ounces, .5 liter =16.91 ounces. The difference between a quart and liter is fairly small, so don't get too concerned about it. Good luck!

Cups are English measurement (8 oz), not metric.

Actually cups do convert, it's just not exact. 1cup =8oz so it is roughly correct.

Actually 1 cup = 250 ml which is 8 oz , so 4 cups = 1 liter which is 32 oz ...so .5 of a liter = 500 ml which is 2 cups thus 16 oz ....hehehehe... hope that helps:happy:

Google it. This is what you'll get.

    1 liter = 4.22675284 US cups

That means 2 of your bottles is roughly 4 cups. I just log 2 cups per bottle (my water bottles also read .5L
