Definitely chin ups. Bicep curls work the biceps and forearms only. Chin ups work your back, biceps, forearms.

Curls are an isolation move that target pretty much just the bicep. Depending on your grip orientation and hand spacing, chin-ups/pull-ups target the lats, biceps, and back. As a general rule, if you want to maximize your workout and time spent in the gym, do only compound movements that work multiple muscle groups (squats, presses, rows, deadlifts, etc.).

    ^^This.

I always envy those guys who spend an hour in the gym doing nothing but various bicep curls. They must has way more time than I do.
