Motivation Help!!

I am seriously lacking some motivation and will power. I am in some sort of slump! What does everyone else do when they go through this?

When I started MFP I got stuck about a month in--for an entire month. That month I only lost 5 lbs, and was busting my butt. I don't know what changed, but I changed my workouts to be more varied, and upped my protein. So from 3/24 to 4/24 I only lost the 5 lbs but didn't give up. Since 4/24 I have lost 20 more. Moral of the story...DON'T GIVE UP! Be stubborn, or as I like to call it, "determined". Part of it was that I didn't look at the progress like that until now, so I didn't really absorb the fact that I was working so hard and only dropped 5 lbs, because I watched my measurements and felt better so I ignored the scale.

So I added more strength/pilates to my cardio, upped my protein, started being really careful about sodium, and also did the Jillian Michaels Cleanse and Detox (which is gentle, and I was feeling sluggish and backed up). Also added in more vitamins and fiber. I take gummy multis, Vit D, Vit E, B complex with C and Biotin as well as a fiber chewable.

Feel free to add me and look at my diary! Don't give up!!!

Oh also, I started out doing this as a "100 day personal challenge", eat right and exercise for 100 days. I'm on day 81 and am not stopping at 100, but it made me change my habits because I didn't want to break my streak.

Before MFP I'd lost over 90 lbs but gained 36.5 back in "happy relationship mode", which I have since dropped again, this time for good because with MFP I understand how to eat and fuel my body properly for life. I am creeping up on 100 total lbs gone from my high weight, 3.5 to go to that mark, and I am trying to drop another 20 or so total to get to a healthy weight for me.
  • It appears some of us are having a rough time, this is a little motivation I have used for many years ;When things go wrong...

Don't know who wrote it but they must have had a weight issue at one time>>>>>>>>>>>>SMILE<<<<<<<<<<<<

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint on the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things go wrong that you mustn't quit.

I watch this video almost every day. I do not fight, so I do not care about eh video itself, but the audio is truly motivational. This is not spam by the way, it is safe to click.
