Because of rounding on nutrition labels. Pickles do have calories but it is a very negligible amount.0 -

Look at a jar of pickle spears instead of tiny slices, and you'll see that each one has around 5 calories for dill. And whole pickles have more than that.0 -
5 cals a pickle... for the baby garlic dills I get.0
