Custom carbs/protein/fat.....

So I decided to try and increase my protein a little and decrease my carbs... I've just looked around and gone with what I still feel is a good balance and won't find too hard. But how has everyone else decided on what percentage each of these should be set at? I'm also concious of keeping it a healthy amount and making sure I get enough fibre. Right now mine is set at carbs 50%, protein 25%, fat 25%.

Even on that amount though, I think I will struggle getting in more protein (I don't want to take protein supplements). I'm a bit of a carb fiend!!
For example, dinner today was a lean steak mince with veg in a tomato sauce, and I still have half ny protein left (pretty much the end of the day now in the UK). I know eggs are good for adding protein but I just don't always fancy eggs, and I adore my fibre rich breakfasts too much to replace with eggs.

Anyone got any advice on how I come up with a good balance? And working out what percentages are ideal for me. My main concern is losing more muscle than fat. Thanks in advance! But I just don't want to overload on protein, I wouldn't be able to physically and I would be scared of causing toilet troubles.

ive been pushing much more protein too. Lowered the carbs

    40% carbs
    25% fat
    35% protein

I struggle to get my protein to that level

I usually fall into 26-28% protien 40-50% carbs rest healthy fats

not sure if thats a good mix or not - but I keep hearing More Protein - you will lose weight.

25% protein is pretty sensible, to reduce carbs you have to jack up the fat. More than 30% protein is probably too much.

Cheese omelette for breakfast, oily fish for lunch, steak or home made burger for tea.

Yeh I really don't want to go anymore than 25% protein... Do you have any tips on getting protein through snacks? I even read that a tall glass of milk will help!

I'm at 45%Carbs/35%Protein/20%Fat as of today. Because 45/40/15 (last 2 weeks) was SUPER hard. My intent is to get really lean and lose more body fat. I like to switch it up but I can tell you that the first few days after taking it lower I struggled. Just prepare yourself mentally!

I plan to go back lower next week just to see how my body responds. I say try it and see how you feel?

Edit: Sorry forgot to ask you do you want to lose more muscle or gain? (just curious)

    *Good Luck*
