Over half way there...

Well...it took me forever to lose my first 20 pounds and then I found MFP. I joined and still wasn't doing so great. So...I kept getting on MFP and looking at everyone success stories and letting them motivate me and kept on trying. On February 27 I weighed in and joined a competition at work. I had to get serious because there was money involved as a prize. So...from February 27 - June 1 I lost another 40 pounds. That makes my total at 60 pounds lost. I now only have 42 more pounds to go to get to goal. Going to stick with what I learned by reading Master Your Metabolism by Jillian Michaels and walking every day and get the rest of this off! It seems to be working for me and doesn't involve a single supplement, "diet", shake, video, weights, bands, etc. Just plain old eating clean and walking...it's easy and I love it.
Also...during the weight loss competition I quit logging my calories so I wouldn't be stressed about calories in everything and just ate what I knew I was supposed to have...have no clue how many calories I was eating a day. That also seems to be working so not going to log...just going to keep coming back to MFP to read other's success stories! Keep up all the good work!
And...sadly I didn't win the contest at work but I did win! I feel soooooo much better and money can't buy that! 40 pounds in three months isn't too shabby and I didn't do anything drastic to lose it...ate clean and walked every day.

40 LBs in 3 months is definitely the accomplishment! that's over 3 lbs lost per week!!! You're awesome! Keep on doing what you're doing because it is definitely working for you0
