Upper arm exercises

No matter what my weight, I've always had chunky arms in comparison to the rest of me. What are some good exercises that will slim them down without bulking them up? Think ballet dancer's arms, and that's more what I'm going for visually.
Background on me. I broke my elbow when I was 14. And so my left arm has a problem with weight baring and straightening completely.

In reality, there is not a whole lot you can do to target one spot for fat loss. You could combine more cardio, with resistance training to add tone there though. Could you be a little more specific as to what part of your arm? tricep, bicep area?0

Tricep. I'm generally very good on my bicep as I always have had a job with lifting involved.0

The slimming down comes with the weight loss, and pretty sure you can't target weight loss. You CAN target areas to tone up though! Don't worry about "bulking up"- it would take hours a day, everyday day for months to get anywhere near a bulked up look.
My arms are actually my favorite part of my body now(especially my triceps!). I go to the gym regularly, and workout with a trainer 1-2x a week, but alot of the exercises we do you an do at home. A pretty effective exercise you can do for triceps is dips. You could also get some small 5lbs weights and do kick backs and pull overs. (You should be able to find the "how-to"'s for them on the internet).
Good Luck!0 -
Doing arm exercises isn't going to slim them down, building muscle makes them bigger not smaller. If you want the pencil thin arms of a ballet dancer then just keep working on a calorie deficit until you get to your body fat goal. If you want muscular arms then work on strength training while keep a calorie deficit to melt away the fat and reveal the muscles.0

you answered your own question !!! if you lift things and your bicep looks how you want them to look... would that theory not work for tricep? try some close grip bench press, tricep pushdowns, and dips.0
