NEED A CHEERLEADER - I'M RIGHT HERE :)

I'm 42 this year.
Had my daughter at 38.
Had my son at 40.
I used to be a size 2 and could eat whatever I want.
Now, I'm battling back off of the 225lbs that I weighed when I delivered my son.
Metabolism didn't just "kick down"...it kicked me in the face.
I count what I eat, but I don't freak out if I go over.
I exercise where I can, because my plate is pretty full and tiring.
I know there are folks that have it MUCH busier than I, and still manage to stay regimented and driven...to those of you...YAY! And CONGRATS!!
But, regardless of who you are or what your story is...I AM your biggest cheerleader.
You SHOULD be proud of yourselves. You're taking the steps necessary to see a healthier you. For some it will come quick and easy, for some it will require a bit of work and tak awhile...but...all said and done...
YOU WILL GET THERE...

I have a friend (also on here) who started diet/exercise same time as I did, 3 months ago.
She is regimented and structured. She has also lost 30lbs.
I'm a bit more lax...and I've lost altogether, around 11 lbs.
Both of us...proof, it can be done.
Pat yourselves on the back for a job well done!!

I would love a cheerleader, but I think I need a drill instructor!!

I thought it was hard enough having a child at 36 (so we only have the one) - I couldn't imagine 38 or 40!
