Maybe go for some good, rich Green & Black's chocolate and a piece of cheese. Sometimes if I'm craving something salty, I go for some good cheese.

I was just at Trader Joe's this morning and noticed for $1.99, my store had packages that contained 5 100 calorie servings of chocolate---there was milk chocolate and 70% dark.

Maybe a good quality chocolate that won't break the calorie bank will help you get thru the tough time.

I can empathize w/what you are going through. I no longer have these problems, but the solution was a laprascopic hysterectomy, done for other reasons. The lack of cravings was a nice side benefit.

    Good Luck.
  • I know the feeling, I just got a visit yesterday after not having that visitor for 13 months becaude I just had a baby 4 months ago and well I had been enjoying my time off, anywho... I was craving chocolate too, sad thing was I gave in :embarassed: but at least now I know why... Well try to eat so fruits as I am going to do from now on.

get Baked Cheetos!! they taste exactly the same and you can have 34 pieces for about 120-130 cals.

    they're my new obsession. :blushing:
  • There are lots of sweet tooth craving quenchers that are nutritious. It's just a culture thing that makes it so damn difficult to find. We have done marvelous in turning sweet foods into JUNK foods.

I love the Emerald cocoa almonds, just a few more calories than regular ones and it's like eating a candy bar!

I have discovered that dark chocolate (70%) does satisfy the cravings. Just try to keep it in small portions because the calories are high. But, I can eat less of the dark chocolate and be satisfied.
