    Technically 4 oz is 1/2 cup. However due to the density of some foods such as turkey it's not as simple as putting it in a measuring cup. Good rule of thumb is a 3-4 oz serving of meat should be the size of your palm. Now if your 6 ft tall and have NBA hands of course this won't ring true.

    You know you can just click the potion size thing and there should be a different value besides "cups" in most cases.

    4oz = 113G
    1oz = 28.3 G if that helps you convert stuff in the future
  • The turkey doesn't offer "cups". Which is how I just measured mine... Blech.

    4oz RAW meat = 1/2 cup

    4oz COOKED and DRAINED meat= roughly 1/3 cup

    meat is generally measured in ounces. You can track your calories by inputting in ounces. They sell really inexpensive food scales for $5.00 at any super market. The problem with putting it in a cup is that it is not a dense food...

    Meat ounces are a weight measure. Cup ounces are a liquid measure.

    Get a scale and do it right.
