What is your favorite form of exercise??? And how many times a week do you exercise?

I absolutely love to walk....or do light hikes in state parks.
I try to walk everyday, but on average I walk at minimum of 5 miles 5 -6 days a week.

Walking and jogging. I walk 2-3 miles in the mornings and jog/walk 4-6 miles at night, at least 5 times a week.

I really love running, but my shin splints really keep me from doing distance running like I want to. Been making up for it with weight lifting

My go-to is running, and I run 4-5 times a week. But I look forward to my bike workouts that I do 1-2 times a week to give my knees a break. Now that it's summer though, all exercise is good exercise :)

Well I'm a waitress and wear a pedometer...I walk about 8 miles per shift....and work about 4 shifts a week. then I like to go for leisurely walks at night sometimes just to help me unwind. Hiking is fun too!

I do love the elliptical too...but I don't have a gym membership anymore. And I'm so glad summer is here!! I'll be in the pool swimming laps once the warm weather comes. The pool is just a little too cold at this time.

I'm all about mixing it up so I don't get bored. I mix in the following 4 days a week total: Zumba classes, Elliptical, 3 mile run at a park (probably done for the summer), treadmill at the gym, strength training, 4-5 mile walks. I need some variety!!

I'm quickly becoming a swim addict. I think another week or so and I might sprout fins, lol. I'm getting to where I go 4 or 5 times a week for 30 - 90 minutes just depending on how crowded the pool is and how many lap swims lanes are open. My waterproofed iPod shuffle just came today; can't wait to try it out tomorrow.

walking. I have had more success in getting fit with walking for long periods of time than any other form of exercise...including running. Walking keeps me really toned and it really speeds up weight loss if there is anything to lose. I LOVE it, and it's so low impact. I love hiking too! Which let's face it, is walking up hills and rocks.

Favorites are walking, hiking, Zumba and strength training. I walk as often as possible everywhere. I Zumba 2 to 3 times a week and strength train 2 or more times a week. Hike when I can. It's super hot here now so probably not again til weather cools!

heavy weight lifting (specifically squats, lunges, deadlifts, pull-ups & push-ups), taebo & swimming. I strength train 3x a week & do cardio 2-3x a week alternating between HIIT stationary bike, swimming, taebo, HIIT running & hiphop dancing

EDIT: sorry I accidentaly pressed the submit button & I haven't finished yet GRRRR

Lifting, and my heavy bag. I lift 3x a week, and right now my heavy bag is in storage...but I like to use it daily if I can.

Boxing. I freaking LOVE it. Sadly I haven't been able to goto the academy I usually goto for it :(

Love biking outside in this weather but stuck with my stationary bike instead which is alright.

Lifting, 3 times a week. Cardio 2 to 3 times a week normally, but some weeks I get insane and do it on lifting days too.

I totally agree with you!!!! "

Walking: The most ancient exercise and still the best modern exercise.”

I love other forms of exercise, however, walking never gets old. It's the only form of exercise in which I truly enjoy to do on a daily basis. It's great for the mind, body, and soul. Plus it's my time where I do all my thinking, venting, and planning. I'm lucky enough that my mom is my walking partner.....We talk for HOURS while walking....to me it's a great bonding experience. I guess I'm a lucky girl!
