I've lost 50lbs, but gained a whole new life!

Over one year ago, I looked like this:

I weighed 177lbs, and was miserable. I didn't do anything and ate crap.

Now, 50lbs later, I look like this:

I run 3-4 days a week, I lift 2 days a week. I am about to run a half marathon, just signed up for a kickball team, and have been referred to as an athlete, and a runner. I make almost all the food I eat, and rarely eat out at all.

It feels good to be me, finally.

    Thanks! The even weirder part is I was NEVER an athlete before. In fact, I used to tell people flat out that I was lazy.

    Now I feel anxious when I don't work out! I need to do SOMETHING everyday!

    So rewarding to see this story, you look (and I'm sure...feel) great :) You're putting such good food into your body and it will be returned to you with good health, nice skin and nails, aerobic ability, etc...in addition to weight loss. Isn't it fun to see the muscles popping out from strength training? I really LOVE my arms now!

    This from a person who failed gym class consistently in high school. Enjoy your new self; I like hearing about the daily exercise, food choices, comments about life in general, and moaning about the weather here in the PNW.
