Saw Nickelback in concert in Atlanta. Absolute best rock show I have EVER seen and I've been to many concerts.

Never heard of Josh Gross, (guy who wrote article) but he obviously doesn't understand the appeal of a great rock show.

Going to ZZTop / Three Doors Down on Sunday and Def Leppard / Poison later in June.

I went to 3DD a couple of months ago, supported by seether, seether were just 'okay' nothing to shout about (and that's from a big fan of their music) but 3DD were awesome, one of the best gigs I've been to. Only one I can say bettered them was shinedown.

I will take all the hammers I can get to beat out my brain before I would listen to Nickelcrap!

I actually went to a concert to see Sick Puppies, Shinedown, and Breaking Benjamin. Left before Nickelcrap came on. Didn't wanna traumatize myself with their garbage music

I went to their show in 2010 with breaking benjamin, shine down and sick puppies. The WHOLE Show was awesome but I have all Nickleback's CD's and do not understand why they are always getting picked on here.

I despise country music but don't start a hateful topic on here about it:huh:

that song "something in your mouth" is awful..if I saw a super hot girl like EmCarroll sucking her thumb and dancing and not taking it out I would think she looked silly even tho I have an oral fixation ..give her a lollipop and it could be hot

I saw them a couple of years ago here in AZ and I thought they put on a great show. The biggest thing for me is that in concert they sound pretty much like they do on the radio which tells me they are a solid band that isn't using all the technology to make themselves sound better than they are. All this hatred for a band seems a little excessive and since it didn't seem to dampen the enthusiasm of the sold out concert that I went to, it seems pretty pointless.

The rest of the bill is pretty good. But I'd rather hit myself in the sac with a 10lb sledge hammer than listen to Nickleback.

I don't really get the hate on them. Not the best band to ever grace the Earth, but far from the worst.

I saw one of their shows, it was a great show and I had sooo much fun. A very memorable one. I don't see why everyone hates them so much.. it baffles me. If anything hate Soulja boy or something.. To each their own! (I guess it's the Canadian in me)

The best NB ever did was they made fun of themselves on funnyordie.com. Thats cuz there was no singing.
Nickleback...the new version of Styx, when Dennis Deyoung sang for them...corporate rock.

Sweet!!! Although not really related, I saw Rammstein last month, and it blew my mind. If you get the chance, it's worth the money. I'd see them again in a heartbeat.

I like some of their music...there I said it. However, I'd rather see Seether & My Darkest Days (love me some "Porn Star Dancin")

That was a memorable song to see live. Something about live music and strippers on stage...just ...hot.

so no one else thinks the lead singer's voice is horrible and sounds like he smoked a bunch of cigarettes or gargled acid before he sings?

I just can't stand that guys voice. it sounds like he's smoked about 100 cigarettes that day... it's awful. it ruins all their songs which have the potential to be good with another singer... sorry for the hate, just how i feel.
:You could say the same about Bryan Adams these days too, no one complains about his music OR looks at a concert.

Let people like what they like, no matter how they sound or look.

And just so you know, I'm Canadian too and proud to be one!!!

See I like krogers voice, just not overly keen on their music, wouldn't refuse a free concert though, don't think u can judge until you've actually seen the band live.

I saw them open for the rolling stones once. Packed stadium, I don't think anyone was listening to them, people around me were yelling at them to get off the stage.

This is funniest post on here. Taste is subjective. Some people have good taste, and then theynhavemto be subjected to other people's bad taste from time to time. Such is life.
